About the Role:

The Sales Development Representative role at Bus.com is a ground floor opportunity to grow quickly and build a career in a fast-growing startup. This role involve reaching out to inbound leads, qualifying them (introducing our potential partners and event promoters to the benefits and features of Bus.com) and then directing them to the appropriate sales teams. You will be part of the engine that drives our revenue growth.

The Sales Development Representative must be equally at ease working enthusiastically with prospective and current partners as they will be committed to all of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a great sales experience. Excelling at this job will require a relentless commitment to building and maintaining great relationships with our partners, a strong sense of teamwork and a proactive, do-before-you're-asked attitude.

The day-to-day:

  • Follow up with and manage qualified leads by phone and email
  • Identify product fits, curate tailored pitches and experiences for your clients
  • Learn fast and execute on our sales process with prospective clients
  • Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly and annual connect quotas
  • Handle all other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

What it takes to succeed:

  • Strong customer service, time management, and people skills
  • Outgoing, proactive, driven personality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (English a must, basic level for French)
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit; flexibility and willingness to learn on the fly
  • Experience in a startup / sales environment is a bonus
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a bonus

Compensation:

$30,000 base salary + commission structure
